Urethane Brush-Grade 522
DESCRIPTION
Urethane Brush-Grade 522 is a high solids, single component, moisture cure polyurethane elastomeric coating uniquely formulated to a thicker consistency than the Urethane 520 in order to bridge gaps for water-proofing situations.

BASIC USES
Urethane Brush-Grade 522 was developed from the Aromatic Urethane 520 as a mastic to create a waterproofing system with the Urethane 520 and other AWS coatings. With excellent adhesion, Urethane Brush-Grade 522 may be used for protection of conventional commercial/industrial surfaces such as, but not limited to, EPDM single ply membranes, concrete, masonry, metal, and polyurethane foam.
INSTALLATION
All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free of any oil, grease or dirt. Pressure washing is recommended for older coatings. Do not apply within two hours of sunset, rain, fog or freezing temperatures.
Apply by heavy brush as received. Thinning up to 6% by volume with xylene is permissible if viscosity increases. For cold weather application, keep material stored above 65 Deg. F. Reacts with water and water vapor in the atmosphere. Water contamination in closed container can result in pressure build-up. Under properly controlled conditions, this product has a 3-6 month shelf life.
Applied coatings will cure in approximately 24 hours at 60 Deg. F and 40% relative humidity. Lower temperatures and humidity will require longer cure time.
WARRANTY
American WeatherStar warrants that the material supplied will meet or exceed physical properties as published. The contractor guarantees that workmanship will be free of defects in coating application. Since performance of previously installed substrate is beyond the control of American WeatherStar or the contractor, requests for additional warranty coverage shall be subject to prior approval by American WeatherStar.
MAINTENANCE
Periodic maintenance of all American WeatherStar products, including cleaning, will ensure extended service life and maintain reflectivity.
